SuperNumb® cream functions by obstructing the pain signal that the skin’s nerve terminals send. The procedure region will feel numb once it is applied as instructed. Please make sure you follow the application directions exactly. At least two hours before the planned surgery, you must leave the cream and plastic wrap on the affected area. After the cream is withdrawn from the treated region, the skin usually stays numb for one to four hours. The location on the body and the kind of skin determine the numbing effect.
